Paper Mosaics
All of Connie Crespo's PAPER MOSAIC works are composed entirely of hundreds upon hundreds of colorful pieces of hand-sculpted magazine paper; no paint is used to attain this realistic, almost three dimensional effect. Connie has aimed for and achieved the impossible: she "paints" with paper.
Since her breakthrough in 1986, Connie's Crespo's Paper Mosaic have effortlessly attracted a barrage if multimedia attention including a feature on Miami's CBS Channel 4 evening news, and an introductory write-up in the Miami Herald.
One Connie's achievements is the inclusion of her work in the American Reference's book "American Artist, An Illustrated Survey of Leading Contemporaries", 1990.
Connie Crespo excels not only in sports and portraiture, but in florals, landscapes, still lifes, and seascapes.
